This painting of Martin Wimmer is something that I've wanted to do for a long time. He was a young man in my ward who passed away because of a brain tumor. I learned many lessons watching this boy become a man as he fought this terrible disease. He was a great example to myself and my children of endurance, testimony and courage. What a privilege it was to know Martin and a blessing to paint this portrait of him for his family.
