Beautiful Singer 15 When I was a child my mother was a professional singer. I thought she was the most beautiful woman that walked the earth. She played the twelve string guitar until her fingers bled. She was and is driven! She wore false eyelashes and go go boots when she performed---wow! My mother's alto voice rang perfectly in my ears. I can still hear her and my father singing "That's What You Get For Loving Me." My grandfather always said she had perfect pitch. She found an old guitar in the garbage and taught herself how to play like a pro. She went on to teach many, many young people how to play both the guitar and piano. My Mother is an amazing woman!
