In Grandpa's Shadow 30 I have often heard my friend talk about the Grandfather that helped her see that her life had meaning. Her grandfather cast a very long shadow of goodness over her. The shadows we cast over others, especially our children and grandchildren are so important. We never know how far reaching our shadows will be. Grandparents seem to understand the importance of this.
